Bus Ride

There is a bus stop right in front of our house which, because we don't use public transit, is normally just an annoyance and inconvenience for Meghan and I - but not Cohen. Naturally Cohen loves watching all the buses (and cars) drive by on our busy street and the buses and people stopping in front of our house has been a constant fascination for him. To Cohen's surprise on Saturday morning, he didn't just get to watch the bus at the bus stop he got to get on it and go for a ride. I think he enjoyed it. Particularly, the busy bus station at the university where there must have been 20 buses coming and going for him to point at in excitement. Our destination was Guelph's popular Saturday morning market downtown. He was exhausted and falling asleep on the bus by the time we got home from our local food excursion.

Cohen has spent most of this winter indoors - or in a car en-route to another indoor activity. This bus trip was a nice bit of fresh air for him.

Family Day Fun

We had a great time on Family Day with our friend Julie from Austria and her kids Finn and Stella.  We spent the morning at an indoor play centre and then Julie and the kids came back to our house for lunch and some playtime in the afternoon.  It was great to catch up with Julie and see how her kids have grown (we hadn't seen them for a year and a half).  Cohen loved every minute of playing with the big kids.  Here are a few pics from the morning.
