Ma nouvelle chaise est incroyable. J'ai soudain la capacité de lire, et pas seulement lire, lire en français ... à l'envers. Merci papa!

Playing in the Water

Memories from warmer days...hard to believe this was just a few weeks ago.  Cohen loves being in the water, whether it's the bathtub, a pool or the lake.

Pulling

Cohen has always loved any toy with wheels.  He likes this pull toy because he can load it up with his "treasures" (mostly other toys, scraps of paper or shoes) and pull it around the house.

Introducing Maeve Josephine Wittek

Our newest niece and Cohen's newest cousin arrived in this world quickly, but safely on September 13, 2012, weighing 7 lbs 10 oz and was 20.5 inches long.  Congratulations to Brenda, Matt and big sisters Serena and Ayla!

Welcome baby Maeve!

For those who are counting, Cohen now has a total of 9 cousins, 2 boys and 7 girls.....something tells me he's going to be the subject of a princess make-over in a few years.

Oh Captain, My Captain!

The kids got a chance to meet the captain of the boat and to take over the helm for a few minutes.  A definite highlight!

Caitlin's looking at the GPS screen to make sure she's steering correctly (somehow I don't think the GPS navigation system is an original part of the boat)

Cohen's face shows the effort and concentration he needed to  move the big wheel.  He loved  driving the boat!

Cruisin' Lake Muskoka on the Segwun

On Labour Day weekend we enjoyed a beautiful trip on Lake Muskoka on the Segwun.  Cohen loved exploring the boat and even got a chance to drive it!

Going for a Drive

I was transferring photos from the camera to my computer and Cohen came up to me and pointed at the camera and then made this face until I took his picture.  Then he wanted to see it and he looked very satisfied with the results when I showed him.  I thought it was funny because he never smiles or poses for the camera when I want to take his photo.....

Baby Jedi He Is

We all agreed that Cohen had a distinct jedi look about him with this hooded towel wrapped around him.  Added to the fact that he still has that "new-walker" shuffle and is very tiny, he earned himself the nickname Yoda for the day.

Trampolining

Cohen LOVED the trampoline at the Dieker's.  He was so proud of himself when he mastered walking across it without falling.
