Amsterdam Hangover

A little beer... "just one sip, I promise".

Plus, some hard drugs from a smart shop (strolled right on by the coffee shop like he was already too cool for school).

Plus, a visit to the red light district (de Wallen for our dutch readers)

Equals one wicked hangover in Holland.

PS. We still can't find Uncle Kyle - last seen outside Station Centraal in Amsterdam when photo below was taken somewhere between the smart shop and the red light district.

Wow, this half year has flown by! I can't believe Cohen is already six months old! It's been a busy month for us, celebrating his first Christmas and flying to Holland to meet the extended family and celebrate great-Oma's 80th birthday. He continues to charm everyone he meets and is still very chatty, constantly babbling. He's been experimenting with his voice this month and has discovered several new sounds (unfortunately one of them is a screeching sound that he seems to love). The Jolly Jumper continues to be a favorite of Cohen's and also Mommy & Daddy (not only does it give us a break, but it's lots of fun to watch him in it). This month Cohen has started to get interested in lights and sounds on his toys and is starting to play with interactive toys, although the main object of most toys is still to get them into his mouth. He's currently going through a huge growth spurt and it looks like he might have his Daddy's height after all (we'll see at his six month checkup later this month). Cohen is a very affectionate baby and he always gives us lots of hugs and big wet open-mouthed kisses :)

I can't wait to see what's in store for the second half of his first year.
