Happy Halloweeen
A few pictures of my scary skeletons from Halloween morning.
This is the only picture I got during the pumpkin carving. Cohen lost interest early in the process and I ended up doing all the work. He still proudly refers to it as "my pumpkin"

Milton Fall Fair
We had a wonderful visit to the Milton Fall Fair a few weeks ago. Cohen loved most of it, but was a bit frightened by the loud noises of the tractor pull. He loved seeing the animals and had a particularly good time running around in the bike obstacle course (because there were no bikes small enough for him) with his buddy Aidan. He was also interested in the classic cars (typical boy!).

Stacking Wood
This year Cohen was big enough to help with one of our "favorite" annual chores at the cottage - stacking wood for the winter. He was so proud of himself for participating and took his responsibilities very seriously.

Helping in the Garden
A great big thank you to Oma, who spent an entire day in the garden with Daddy to help us clean up the front yard and make it look beautiful. We do not have green thumbs and have done a terrible job of keeping up the beautiful gardens that came with our house. We appreciate both Oma's expertise and labour to get our yard looking good again!
Mommy is too pregnant to be of any use, but Cohen was eager to help out for a little bit.

African Lion Safari
We spent a wonderful day at African Lion Safari in September with Oma and Opa. I'm a bit late posting these pics, but since Nana and Gigi are on an actual safari in Africa today, I thought maybe it was appropriate timing.
Cohen LOVED seeing all the animals. He really enjoyed the giraffes (just as much as he enjoyed them at the zoo), and also loved the elephants. We were lucky to see the new baby elephant, Nellie, who was just over a month old when we visited. The train ride was, of course, another highlight for Cohen.
