Those of you who know Mike well know he's obsessive over cycling. He's been talking about getting the baby and Molly into a bike trailer since the moment I found out I was pregnant. The trailers are not meant for infants younger than one year, but Mike purchased and set up a trailer and has been itching to try it out. He rides around with it behind his bike sometimes even though there are no occupants. Here is his first attempt at putting Cohen and Molly in the trailer (this was just a dry run in the garage, Mommy won't let him go out until Cohen is big enough).
As you can see, Cohen wasn't too impressed.

Sad Faces
Cohen has had a tough time with teething over the past two weeks, so we've seen a lot of sad faces like these:

And now for something completely different...
While there are lots of traditional Mennonites in the area who use horse and buggy still we don't often see a horse and buggy pulling a billboard on our road here in Guelph so this caught my attention immediately (the intended effect). I will only say two things about this photo. The sign clearly says only bikes are allowed in the bike lane and notice the driver is wearing blue jeans; traditional mennonites don't wear coloured anything.

Molly Killed a Mouse
After 5 years of chasing chipmunks, squirrels and the occasional bird, Molly finally found a prey that she could out-wit and out-run. The other day Molly was barking at our barbecue like mad, so Mike removed the cover and a mouse ran out. The mouse got away, but Molly spent the better part of the evening sniffing out the mouse's trail.
The next day we found the dead mouse on the deck by the door, a present from our great white hunter!
