I've just gotten around to taking these pictures off my phone from Cohen's first stay in the hospital in January. It wasn't always easy to keep a one-year-old happy while confined in an 8'x5' space for a week and connected first to the oxygen and later to the IV. We brought some of Cohen's toys from home, plus books and his colouring books and markers. But, there was a lot of TV watching (thankfully they had a TV with the Treehouse channel) and playing games on the ipad (thank God for technology!). These are activities that Cohen doesn't get to do much of at home, so he was happy to do them much of the time.
Here's our little trooper keeping occupied:
 |
| Watching TV up close |
 |
| Watching TV from afar |

| Oh, here's a great way to keep busy for 15 minutes....go through Mommy's purse and empty all the contents, then go through the wallet and do the same! |
